1. Introduction
ZerothGen operates Hisab – Expense Manager ("Hisab"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Hisab and its supporting services. We respect your privacy and aim to handle information responsibly and transparently.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, Hisab may process information that you provide directly, including:
- Account information such as your email address, password, and display name.
- Preferences such as language, currency, and timezone.
- Expense-management records such as accounts, categories, transactions, balances, notes, contacts, debts, debt payments, bills, and budgets.
- Authentication and password-reset information, including session records and time-limited password-reset codes. Passwords and reset codes are stored in hashed form.
Hisab's current service does not require access to your bank accounts, payment cards, banking credentials, precise location, camera, or contacts stored on your device. We do not claim to collect device, advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting information unless a future version of the app clearly explains that practice.
3. Financial Information
Information you enter about expenses, income, accounts, budgets, transactions, debts, bills, and related records is used to provide Hisab's bookkeeping and expense-management features. ZerothGen does not access bank accounts, payment cards, or banking credentials through Hisab.
4. How We Use Information
We use information as needed to:
- Provide account, bookkeeping, synchronization, and other Hisab functionality.
- Maintain service performance, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot problems and respond to support requests.
- Improve and develop Hisab features.
- Send account-related messages, including password-reset messages when requested.
5. Data Storage and Security
Hisab processes account and bookkeeping data through ZerothGen's application backend and database infrastructure. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, including password hashing, authenticated sessions, API authentication, and prepared database statements. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Data Sharing
ZerothGen does not sell personal information. We may share or permit limited processing of information with service providers when necessary to host the application, operate the database, deliver account-related email, maintain security, or comply with a legal obligation. Those providers are expected to process information only for the relevant service and according to applicable requirements.
7. Third-Party Services
Hisab uses third-party infrastructure providers for hosting and database operation. Password-reset emails may be sent through the configured email infrastructure. The current repository does not include the mobile application's source code, so any analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or other mobile SDK practices must be confirmed against the released app before being added to this policy.
8. Data Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Hisab, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business purposes. Session records and password-reset codes are designed to expire after their applicable periods. Specific retention periods may vary by record type.
9. Data Deletion
If you would like to request deletion of your Hisab account or personal information, contact privacy@zerothgen.com. We may need to verify your request before processing it. Some information may be retained where required by law, needed for security, or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
10. Children's Privacy
Hisab is not intentionally designed for children below the applicable minimum age. We do not knowingly request personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided information to ZerothGen, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
11. User Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your Hisab account. Submit requests to privacy@zerothgen.com. We will handle requests within a reasonable period and may ask for information needed to verify identity and protect the account.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy as Hisab changes or as legal requirements develop. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised. Continued use of Hisab after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
